Mr. Iglesias only builds each instrument once. Each customer request is uniquely drawn out from scratch, and laid out on plans which are exchanged with the customer until satisfactory. woods are chosen, and the construction begins.. using proven methods Ramón has developed over his 30 years of experience as a Luthier.

All of your wildest dreams are made possible by Ramón, there are no unusual requests. Custom carvings, double neck guitars, everything is possible and built to the highest standards, built to last a lifetime.

Iglesias guitars are built with exotic hard woods, structurally superior to common instrument materials, and they have no Truss rod built into their necks, because they dont need to have one! these necks will never bend, twist or give in, they will stay true throughout the years. Their tone and resonance is superior and their sustain is impeccable.

All of Mr. Iglesias´Instruments have a one piece construction, with no bolt-in or glue-in necks, which will never break off or crack.

The tropic offers a richness in natural woods unparallelled anywhere in the world. Every instrument is built to order only after specifications are accorded between the client and Mr. Iglesias and a set of plans is drawn. Amongst the many available for your instrument there are:

All natural Bridge and nut pieces, and top-quality electronics..

All Iglesias Instruments feature hand-carved, individually calibrated bone bridge pieces, customized for each instrument. These bridge pieces never need to be adjusted again. they are built at their exact tonal positions and the instrument will stay on-tune and on perfect intonation permanently. The nuts are also carved out of bone, this combination offers unparallelled tone and sustain, unlike other metallic pieces.

Electronics-wise, choices are completely up to you, and built to your taste. Be it Bartolini pickups, EMG pickups or other combinations, Mr. Iglesias can build it. An experienced man in electronics, he builds active equalization circuitry for each instrument, to your taste and choice.
