Mr. Iglesias Creates a unique design every time, and no two instruments are alike. Below you will find some information on a few select projects of the past. Each utilizing different varieties of exotic hardwoods, scales and setups, all of them are unique and special. A crisp, clear, ground-thumping bass sound can only come from exotic woods, found abundantly in the Jungles of Guatemala. they resonate incredibly in this 6-string Bass Guitar, equipped with bartolini pickups and active electronics. Bone bridge pieces and Nut.
Very special slabs of wood were chosen to create the "colored edge" effect on this bass guitar's body. all-bone bridge and nut calibrated by Ramón Iglesias will never need adjustment. Bartolini Pickups with an active pre-amp give this bass incredible output and sound clarity.

This very special order is truly a work of woodcarving art. The rattlesnake, guitar neck, fretboard and headstock are a single piece of hard wood.. combined with a lightweight posterior body it has an incredibly fast neck and string action. the bridge and nut pieces are, as with all Iglesias Instruments, made out of all natural bone. Very special slabs of wood were chosen to create the "ripped stripes" effect on this bass guitar's body. all-bone bridge and nut calibrated by Ramón Iglesias will never need adjustment. A 3/4 Scale Upright electric bass with a modernist design, sounds as deep and as clear as a real double bass instrument. Equipped with a Piezo Transceiver and active preamp, all hand created and wired by Mr. Iglesias, the sound and the feel of this bass is great. The instrument is ready to place on a tripod for playing.
This 5-string bass exhibits a beautiful combination of Woods including rosewood, Chico-zapote and ramon, and a hollowed out body which improves both resonation, and instrument weight in general. Bartolini Electronics deliver the characteristic sound of Iglesias Bass Guitars. Jose Miguel Morales, a local Musician, was kind enough to provide us with pictures of His 6-string Electric, covered in beautiful wood inlays throughout.. bartolini Humbucking Pickups and active electronics.
This is an all original design of an electric Violin, with rosewood fingerboard and tailpiece. The sound is then picked up by a piezo transceiver and processed through active electronics inside the Violin. Mr. Iglesias, in his luthierie activities, also practices restoration of vintage instruments. This 1956 Harmony LP Style Electric guitar was found in a deplorable condition throughout. It was refinished, repaired on numerous spots, the fretboard was straightened and refretted. The electronics were replaced with 18v active units.
